VELOCÉ Fashion E-Commerce Platform

VELOCÉ Fashion required a digital storefront for a limited-run luxury collection. The goal was not just to build a checkout, but to build a scalable, automated e-commerce infrastructure that handles pre-orders, deposits, address management, and refunds without manual intervention.

We built a custom luxury e-commerce experience using Next.js, Stripe, Supabase, and Resend.

• The Storefront & Dual-Path Checkout. High-end PDPs with Stripe Elements integration (Apple Pay, Cash App, Amazon Pay) and dynamic server-side price validation. Customers can seamlessly choose between securing a piece with a deposit or paying in full upfront.
• The Client Portal. A passwordless authentication system (6-digit OTP) allowing customers to view live order data synced directly from Stripe.
• Self-Service Address Management. Customers update shipping addresses in the portal, which writes to Supabase (with Row Level Security) and syncs to the Stripe Customer record for fulfillment.
• Smart Refund & Store Credit Engine. A fully automated, time-based refund engine designed to protect cash flow and prevent chargebacks. Orders cancelled within 48 hours receive an instant cash refund via Stripe. Orders cancelled after 48 hours are automatically converted into an exclusive store credit, with a unique code generated and emailed to the customer. Post-delivery returns are restricted to store credit only, enforced directly in the client portal.
• Admin Fulfillment Automation. A custom internal dashboard that exports paid orders as a CSV manifest with automated weight calculations (based on product SKUs) for immediate label generation. It also ingests carrier tracking CSVs to update order status and trigger automated shipping notifications without manual data entry.

Eliminated hours of manual operations and customer service by automating the entire post-purchase lifecycle, from dual-path checkout to label generation and tracking dispatch. The architecture is modular, secure, and ready to be cloned as a whitelabel SaaS offering for future Factum clients and seasonal VELOCÉ chapters.
